The 4 P's of Marketing
My career began with a passion for the real definition of marketing, how to meet the needs of your consumers. Combining product, price, place, and promotions in creative ways gives you a marketing mix that communicates how your offerings meet the needs of your consumer.
I believe in creating a marketing mix that authentically brings offerings to consumers. No deception, no bait and switch, no gimmicks. There's always a way to make sense of the situation for your business. May I help you figure yours out?
I've worked as an online marketing consultant in different capacities for small, medium, and Fortune 500 businesses since just after I graduated college at DePaul University in 2010.
Positions I've held include SEO Specialist, Copywriter, Content Strategist, Content Manager, and all-around Brand Advisor. In every role I strive to enhance internal collaboration, produce excellent deliverables, and satisfy client expectations in calls, meetings, and presentations.
From launching new brands to surpassing conversion and traffic KPIs, I'm proud to have been a part of many successful marketing projects and campaigns.
My wide range of project experience has led me to gain domain expertise in the following industries:
Luxury goods make people feel better about themselves, the frequency and staying power of that sensation is up to a product's marketers.
Making change in this industry needs to happen NOW for it to have any impact. Structure online and offline marketing offerings accordingly.
How many times can you hear the word quality without vomiting? Project quality implicitly, not explicitly, while still keeping content focus.
Real progress for real brands
Real progress for real brands
The brands I've worked for are as varied as they come but in all cases, I've helped them make headway on their initiatives. Whether it's a flyer for a convention, creating and presenting sales collateral, or evaluating promotional channel strategies, I've made it work.
While it's typical to enter an engagement as a marketing expert, I feel that it is key to become a product expert, or an evangelist as much possible when working on a marketing project. Approaching as an outsider is inevitable, but to effectively communicate with those who've lived and breathed it for months or years, you must prove that you know it almost as well as they do.
Marketing is not theory, but practice, so school is important, but work is essential. I've been lucky to have had great learning experiences in both areas.
Companies are almost always looking to push the envelope with content and offerings, so I've helped them research best practices and brainstorm untapped or unaltered methods.
I am by no means a know-it-all, or a jack-of-all-trades, but I know a little bit about a lot of marketing things, especially online marketing things. That said, I have emphasized content marketing and online copywriting as talents I work on constantly.
I've spent a lot of time in the past year creating online content plans and content itself. I take time to understand online trends and practical changes, particularly within social media sites and SEO best practices. This understanding helps the content I work on will appear in the right context to be digested by the intended viewer.
I write persuasive copy for web pages, emails, paid search ads, social posts, headlines and more. I've written for sites about luxury products, business to business services, home and garden products, high technology services, and more.
I also have written blogs on blogs on blogs about marketing. Published on some of the top industry blogs such as Moz, Three Deep Marketing, and TopRank Blog, my content is written to be entertaining and informative. See some examples here:
